The 2-Contients Adventure is a given route, starting in Irun Spain. 4,000km from Irun to Sidi Ifni Morocco on the gravel/piste route – 4,256km on the road route. It’s the first bikepacking adventure we know, crossing 2 continents.
- First stage, Europe: Irun to Tarifa, Spain. Following the Iberica-Traversa route.
– Gravel/piste: 1,723km / 29,427m of elevation
– Road: 1,812km / 27,325m of elevation - Ferry: In Tarifa you take the ferry to cross the 17km over the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa. In about 1 hour from Tarifa you arrive at Tangier.
- Second stage, Africa: Tangier to Sidi Ifni, Morocco. Following the Morocco-BikeAdventure route.
– Gravel/piste: 2,300km / 23’000m of elevation
– Road: 2,444km / 28,000m of elevation
Irun-Sidi Ifni started for the first time in 2021. 9 riders have started this adventure since then. To date, only Irena Sosinska has reached the finish in Sidi Ifni and this on the gravel/piste route.
